School Won't Teach You This

My original post was about my topic for yesterday. Then I thought about it and changed my mind. I thought I would make it about more about school translating into the business world.

I am not perfect. I have made my mistakes in the business world, and wish I could go back to my freshman year in college and start all over but still be married. Here are some tips for people who want to work in sports or business.

Never burn bridges. You never know when you are going to run into people.

If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. You don't know who knows who in this industry. Plus it's just mean!

Network Always.

Keep your options open. Gary and I have a goals, but we are also realistic about things. If we were to move out of Arizona it's for 5 or 6 cities with a plethora of sports teams near by. But we will hear any situation out though.

Be yourself. Don't be anyone else.

Rant

I'm almost done with the Blog Every Day in May. I can't believe it's almost over, but I'm also ready to start a new chapter with my blogger. Today is all about rants. The first rant that comes to mind is all about medals. Seriously, everyone gets a medal these days. It absolutely drives me insane.

It just seems like now a days you get a medal for everything. Don't get me wrong I like medals as much as the next one, but for a little kids they get a ribbon or medal for everything. Congrats you missed the most days of school!  Congrats you're on the softball team because we can't cut anyone.

I don't know why or when this happened. Maybe it's not as bad as I think it is because I'm not parent yet, but it just seems like we have medals. I just feel like this doesn't help with anything. I think if they don't get a medal that would force them to work hard next time to get that metal. if you don't hit your numbers you are not going to get well maybe next time. You will get fired!

Getting medals for races and stuff are different. Those are collector pieces. I'm not talking about those. I like those because each is different, and they remind you of all the hard work that went into completely that race.

So that's my rant.

Bedsider: What’s in Your Bedside Drawer?’

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Bedsider.org.

When I got ask to write about What in my bedside drawer, I thought about all the different ways I could go with this. I wasn't sure how "real" I wanted to be with post. Then I decided go big or go home, right?

I have struggled with finding what kind of birth control works best for my body and lifestyle. In the past I haven't been too nice to my body in regards to birth control. I did the shot forever, because I was never going to have kids. Side story: I tried forever to get all my lady parts gone because I was that sure. Thank you docs and mom for not letting them. During college I did done IVF a couple times. If that doesn't screw with your body too I don't what will. It's the most rewarding thing ever, but a toll on you emotional and physically. Fast forward a few years: I'm now married to the most amazing man ever, and we starting to think about starting our family. I'm now on the pill, but struggle taking it everyday.

That's what I love about Bedsider.org. Is that you can find what works best for you. Bedsider provides detailed information and compares over a dozen birth control methods making it easy for every woman to find the right method to fit her lifestyle. Bedsider.org offers women unbiased advice on how and where to find birth control and shares news, views, real stories and even a weekly column based around sex and birth control.

What's in my beside drawer? To be honest, we don't have nightstands. Our bedroom is too small, and I haven't found any that I we love.

Every girl has that bedside drawer that holds the bedroom essentials: their Kindle, a pair of reading glasses, sexy lingerie. – whatever fits their personality. No matter what your drawer says about you, there’s birth control that will fit right in. Find the best method for your routine and style at Bedsider.org.

Today is all about my favorite blog post that I have written. We are going back old school. One of my favorite post is about my review on Hot Yoga. Gary got it as a Christmas Gift this past year. Check it out here

Another classic is the All-Star Game that both Gary and I are wrote from both of our perspectives. I'm super excited for the All-Star Game this year because it is on my birthday!! What a great way to celebrate my birthday, right? Check out the our thoughts on the All-Star Game. Mine and His

Sometimes I can be crafty and you can read about my first project on how to make a washcloth. These are super easy to make and are great gifts. If you ever need me to make some let me know.

Heisman goes to Puppy Day Care is a post that was fun to write. It was the first time we took him. I was a wreck because I wasn't sure how he would handle it. I later found out the hubs called to check on him. He had an absolute blast. We still try to take him every now and again.
